Redeemed and validated are
two separate actions and shown as below to the
merchants. A customer simply viewing a coupon does not trigger redemption
emails. In the case where the customer clicks on the [Use This
Coupon Now] at which point they will have been warned that it is a
one-time use code and they still went ahead with it at which point
the QR code is revealed and the system treats it as a redemption.
Note below you see 1 under Validated. Which means the Clover scanner has validated the code
at your location.
